Free press will solve bias

Supporters of PRC argue that western media is biased while reporting on Tibet. Well, everybody has their biases, including Chinese media. It is really hypocritical for supporters of PRC to accuse other sources critical of PRC’s handling of Tibet as biased when PRC sources themselves are controlled by the state and only report what the communist state approves of.

There is only one way to solve that: allow free media and let individuals make up their own mind from competing sources.

  1. haha, the oversea chineses have access to western medias are strongly pro-china. what yo say to that , Foo.

  2. hey foo,

What makes you think the Chinese people are the only people in the world? Besides, not all Chinese people support the PRC occupation of Tibet.

  3. it is not innocent bias but well-planned propaganda and psyop by CIA/NED.

  4. well said, mr. peterson ! the whole anti-china, boycott olympic and “tibet uprising” were well-planned and well-financed.

  5. why don’t you address this rather than running away from the issue: why does china is so afraid of free press?

  6. hafiz: do you read chinese? have you lived in China before ? how much do you know about China’s culture ? these are all important factors for you to be qualified to make the judgement that “China is so afraid of free press” ! Don’t just blindly recycle what other have said like a useful idiots of CIA/NED.

  7. pingping,

why don’t you explain why then rather than trying to run away from the question.

  8. there are 1.3 billion people, 2,000 universities, 100 TV stations, thousands of newspapers and periodicals and hundreds of think-tanks of all kind in China, how do i explain to you all the lively debates inside china if you do not know Chinese language and culture and never visited China before ?

  9. Hafiz, come to debate with me at http://nikpeterson.blogspot.com

Don’t accuse others of “running away” or diverting topic as YOU yourself do not allow FREE PRESS (or free speech) on your blog, Maddruid.com, by claiming it is YOUR house. China too is a HOUSE and chinese press is owned by chinese. If you do not like that, please go to other nations and naturalise yourself as their nationals. There are many Tibetians who are proud of their Chinese nationality and refer themselves as “Bangsa Cina” (like Bangsa Malaysia). There also exists “self-hating Chinese” like the Dalai Lama who prefer to call himself “a Tibetian”. That’s anti-Chinese.

Tibetians are Chinese and we, Chinese refer them as “Bangsa Cina” the same way Malaysian Chinese are forced to assimilate into “Bangsa Malaysia” by the Islamic fascist regime in Kelantan, Selangor, and Kedah. Selangor fascist ruler Khalid Ibrahim has refused obeyed the Selangor King by agreeing to a 50% Malay : 50% non Malay quota. The very word “non Malay” is fascist and only a person who cannot see diversity will use that term. If assimilation is RACISM, then, why do you Muslims do it (such as refusing to fund pig farms and threaten to close pig farms) but at the same time accuse Chinese of racism.

We all know Hafiz Noor Shams is an Islamic terrorist who apologises for Caliph Umar’s Arab racism towards Coptic people and uses that as a basis for Malay racism (as seen in Kelantan and Selangor) towards Chinese and Indians.

I doubt you will dare to publish this post as YOU are a coward without balls.
